
Ok, so here goes. Roots and Harbor’s very first blog post. Eeek!! Before I start with today’s unbelievably easy recipe lemme just explain what you’ll get from these recipes and then you can use your imagination as to what you won’t get.

Apple Pie Turnovers

ingredients
o 1/4 c light brown sugar
o 1 tsp apple pie spice (equal parts cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice)
o 3 tbs melted butter
o 1 small apple cored and sliced into 8 slices
o 1 8oz can crescent rolls (I used Pilsbury)
instructions
o Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
o Place apples in the bowl of melted butter and toss to coat
o Combine brown sugar and apple pie spice
o Unroll crescent rolls and space out on baking sheet
o Sprinkle 1/2 tbs sugar mixture on crescent rolls
o Place apple on large end of crecent and roll
o Brush each roll with remaining butter
o Bake for 10-12 minutes
o Serve with vanilla ice cream if you’re a super hostess 😉
