Possibly one of the easiest things I’ve ever made. I assumed it would be complicated which is why I often opted for store bought (full of sugar) mixes or good ole S’bucks. Super excited now that I know exactly what goes into my chai latte plus I’m saving money!
Here’s a quick video showing you how I whip up my chai latte.
ingredients
12 organic chai tea bags (I used Tazo for this one)
4 cups filtered water
instructions
Tie tea bags together and cut off the tags (optional). Bring water to boil in a pot. Once boiling remove from heat and add tea bags. Allow to steep for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes remove and discard tea bags. Pour concentrate into a large mason jar, allow to cool and refrigerate.
To make your chai latte add 1 part chai concentrate to 2 parts milk of choice (my current favorite is oat milk). Sweeten and add oils if that’s your jam then froth!…optional but so worth it. Here’s the frother I use. This is so good both hot or over ice! Pro tip- make ice cubes out of your chai concentrate, pour milk of choice over 4-5 cubes for an amazing water free iced chai latte.
Enjoy!
XOXO- Amanda
