Are you looking for ideas on what to do with your kids this summer? You’ve come to the right place! These are the summer fun essentials that I wish I had known about sooner.
The summer of 2020 really pushed me to up my summer fun game. All three kids were home from camp and were looking to me as their director of summer fun.
The best part about these summer essentials is they will last summer after summer (with good care of course).
Bounce house with water feature
All three kids love this affordable bounce house. I love that it includes a water feature to cool them off on those hot summer days. The bounce house includes the pump and is very well constructed. The material is a fabric(ish) material and you can set it up in a matter of minutes. The best part is, the price point of this bounce house is a lot less than others I researched.
Projector for outdoor summer fun
If you are looking for a really good affordable projector this is the one! We bought this in the summer of 2020 but I was too intimidated to set it up. I finally pulled it out a year later and boy do I regret waiting. This projector is awesome and really easy to setup! Our kids have used it in the basement, bedrooms and for outdoor movies. We hook our projector up to our Apple TV and it works beautifully. You may want to grab this outdoor projector screen for movies in the backyard. But a white sheet will work just fine.
SNOW-CONE MAKER for Ultimate summer fun
There’s a reason this snow-cone maker always goes out of stock! The kids love this in the summer. Not only is this snow-cone maker very affordable but it comes with everything you need! It comes with the snow-cone syrups (which I realize are not the healthiest). But you can always use things like homemade lemonade or fruit juice to keep the sugar and dyes to a minimum. I also recommend getting some reusable snow-cone cups and reusable snow cone straws like these for when you run out of the ones that come with it.
Litte passports Summer Camp In A Box

If you’re looking for activities to do on those inevitable rainy summer days, l want to introduce you to https://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=OcnzgBJVAhU&offerid=905399.66&type=3&subid=0">Introducing New Kits Bundle Up Kids' Favorite Themes - Shop Now!Little Passports. I’ve been meaning to do a Little Passports review since they saved the day back in the summer of 2020. We were left with no school, sitter or summer camp. Not to mention on place to go! Then I discovered the Little Passports “summer camp” and knew I had found the answer. Even though quarantine has passed (all the praise hands) I can still see the huge benefit of Little Passports. Not only are they fun but also educational. I recommend having Little Passports around for those summer days when it’s just too hot or rainy to be outside.
The Best Tie Dye Kit

Is it even summer without tie dye? I say no! This tie dye kit was so hard to come by last summer. I felt like the luckiest mom in the world when I snagged one. I love this tie dye kit because it comes with every single thing you need (except shirts, you’ll need your own shirts). The kids had so much fun making their own tie dye shirts. There’s enough in this kit to invite friends over to join in the tie dye fun.
