Looking for a yummy healthy snack that can help with your supply? This one will be your go-to, trust me! I’ve made these after my last two babies and not only do they give me protein, energy and satisfy my sweet tooth, I have definitely seen a difference in my supply when I eat them.

I make them in the last weeks of my pregnancies and stored them in the freezer. I also start eating them a week leading up to my due date (never hurts to be prepared, right?). Once baby is born I eat two as a snack around 10am but obviously there are no hard or fast rules around when to eat these.

All of the ingredients are whole foods that are said to support breastmilk supply. They keep great in the freezer so consider making a double batch!
ingredients
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
3 tbsp brewers yeast
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey (or natural sweetener of choice, maple syrup or agave)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup dark chocolate or cacao chips
instructions
Using an electric mixer with the paddle attachment add all ingredients except for chocolate chips. Mix on low speed until combined then stir in chocolate chips. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon roll into balls (about 2tbsp per ball). Place on parchment paper and then transfer to storage container. I use a ziplock bag so they lay flat and not on top of each other. Take out of the freezer 5 minutes before you plan to eat them and enjoy 2 or more a day.
Did you make these?? How did they turn out, let me know in the comments!
XOXO- Amanda
