Welcome to Harley’s world…or rather a semi used room intended for Harley at some point in her life π She may be my third child but I still fell head first into the “everything must be done before she’s born” nesting phase.

This room originally started going in the floral direction then quickly made a u turn and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. My vision was to create a sweet earthy boho room. I was so exhausted during her pregnancy that I couldn’t fathom painting her room. So it’s still the same color it was when Brody was in there. The rocking chair also stayed with the room.

The “major” changes we made were switching the light fixture in the bay (one of my favorite parts of the room), new babyletto crib and adding curtain panels. Although I’ll let you in on a little secret, those panels are actually two shower curtains split down the middle. Adding those really softened the room.

The crib sheet from spearmintlove was my inspiration, I just loved the colors so I worked around that. It usually takes one inspirational piece or characteristic of a room for my vision to unfold. Although it took me two rugs before I landed on the one that I really worked. The carved mango wood changing table/dresser was one of the pricier pieces but I’m hoping it grows with her through the years. And before you fall over at the price, I used some cc points to pay for it π I also went for a changing basket from Ollie and Ella instead of a pad this time around and hope I’ll find another use for the basket when she’s no longer using it.

I wanted a reading area where the books could be on display and ended up finding the perfect size shelves on amazon. Now if Brody would stop taking the books from her room π

I added some accordion racks on the longer wall to hold her already impressive collection of bonnets and bows. I wanted something functional that fit the style of the room. I may eventually add something else to that wall.

I love sharing little areas of my home, if you like seeing it let me know and I’ll do more room tours!
XOXO- Amanda
